Mary Ellen Grant, Vice President
Mary Ellen Grant has over 15 years of experience in strategic communications, media relations, and high-profile public outreach campaigns. She most recently directed public relations activities for a national trade association representing major global energy companies where she encouraged the public, media and policymakers to support the development of liquefied natural gas import and export facilities in the U.S. Previously, Mary Ellen served as deputy press secretary for the Republican National Committee during the 2004 presidential campaign where she corresponded daily with high-profile media and developed and managed national communications plans. She also held communications positions on Capitol Hill at the House Committee on Energy and Commerce where she handled National Energy Policy and environmental issues, and as press secretary for U.S. Representative Steve Horn from Long Beach, California.
Mary Ellen began her career at a small Washington, D.C. public relations firm learning from former White House speechwriters and later worked as a campaign manager for a nationally targeted congressional candidate in Rancho Cucamonga, California and then served as district director for a California state assembly member.
Mary Ellen received her M.B.A. from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 2006.
